Work Health & Safety (WHS) Commitment – Queensland

Naked Asbestos & Demolition PTY LTD is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Work Health & Safety across all aspects of our operations. The health and safety of our employees, clients, contractors, and the general public is our highest priority.

We recognise that asbestos removal and demolition works involve significant health and safety risks and we are dedicated to managing these risks through strict compliance, training, and safe work practices.

Queensland Legislative Compliance


We operate in full compliance with all applicable Queensland legislation and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD)

  • Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (QLD)

  • How to Safely Remove Asbestos Code of Practice (QLD)

  • Managing Risks of Hazardous Chemicals in the Workplace Code of Practice

  • Requirements and guidance issued by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ)
     

All asbestos removal works are planned and carried out in accordance with approved asbestos removal control plans and Queensland regulatory standards.
 

Risk Management


We implement structured risk management processes including:

  • Site-specific risk assessments

  • Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)

  • Asbestos identification and hazard assessments

  • Ongoing monitoring of site conditions and control measures
     

Training & Competency


All asbestos removal work is undertaken by appropriately trained, licensed, and competent personnel. Ongoing training ensures compliance with WHSQ requirements and industry best practices.
 

Safe Work Practices


Our safe work practices include:

  • Approved asbestos removal techniques

  • Appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Containment, decontamination, and clearance procedures

  • Air monitoring where required

  • Licensed transport and disposal of asbestos waste
     

Consultation & Incident Management


We actively consult with workers and contractors on WHS matters and promote open communication. All incidents, hazards, and near misses are reported, investigated, and addressed promptly.
 

Environmental Responsibility


We manage asbestos waste in accordance with Queensland environmental legislation to prevent contamination and protect surrounding environments.
 

Continuous Improvement


Naked Asbestos & Demolition PTY LTD regularly reviews and improves its WHS systems to ensure ongoing compliance and continual improvement.
